The Client

Recently, global brand Uber had acquired JUMP!, On-demand electric bikes that allow you to go further, get there faster, and have more fun. To coincide with the arrival of the scooters to New Zealand, I was engaged by Uber to shoot, edit and prepare marketing collateral to launch the new service to the NZ, and later global markets.

The Brief

With new methods of transportation and on-line booking systems comes new difficulties and laws to ensure riders are both safe and educated in both the road/footpath rules, as well as their own requirements and respect of the equipment.

The JUMP! team needed instantaneous turnaround of both photographic and videographic content, including asset design and animation for their new brand which at the time had no animation style prescribed, and was pioneered with this project.

This project was completed in conjunction with The View From Here.

Video Package

A range of videos were requested to showcase:

a.) a trailer to announce the JUMP branding to the New Zealand Public

b.) a social hero video to showcase the technology, it’s integration with the Uber app, and how they ride

c.) an instructional/safety set of videos to showcase how to ride, the do’s and don’ts, laws, and good practice.

 


Photography Package

To support the social media videos created above, a photography package was to be created with a strong emphasis on helmet safety, good vibes, footpath use and ease of mobility.
